Our house needed a basement office, bedroom, and bathroom with a tile shower. Remodeling jobs’ hidden surprises requires a lot of problem solving so I was initially nervous about hiring landscapers to do interior work. We have great respect and admiration for landscapers, but they are different skill sets. Big difference between limestone steps and crown molding. Their bid was competitive, neither low nor high. Joey Larson, their estimator was clear about what jobs they do, and did say
they were slow, not a bad thing. We had time for the job.

The Edina building inspectors, who had failed previous contractors work, liked their complex framing. They did an excellent job figuring out and installing window surrounds and crown molding in two difficult rooms. The meticulous tile work in the bathroom brings us joy.

We were home working, upstairs, during the entire job and heard the crew downstairs. It was actually fun to overhear their harmonious interactions. Excellent people to have in our house for an extended period of time. As a major complement, when they finished, we missed having them in our basement.

We were so happy with the recent landscaping work and the communication from your team that it would be hard not to consider working with you again. This basement remodel is the next big dream project for our home, and we’d love to partner with you on it.

Can’t say enough great things about our project with Uplift by Field. We had maybe the world’s worst basement bathroom/laundry room, and really had no idea how it could be made better. Overall, I was so unsure about who to hire to finish our basement and so overwhelmingly happy I went with Field. You know you have chosen a good crew when your dog loves them too, and Rick and Joey and everyone that came in made time to give my very needy dog belly rubs every time they came in and out. They also didn’t seem bothered by my son occasionally wanting to do show-and-tell at 730 in the morning when they arrived! I really can’t say good enough things about Field—if you’re unsure about starting a project, just get a consultation with them, you won’t regret it.

This was probably the best experience I’ve ever had with a contractor. We hired them to do two jobs – one was a basement remodel and the other was a complete overhaul of our backyard and patio. In both cases, we had fantastic customer service and the outcomes were even better than we expected. I really appreciated the daily communication and updates – either face to face or by email, and felt heard throughout the whole process. They left things neat at the end of each day, were transparent and accurate with estimating timelines, and very friendly to work with.
