The Uplift Story
Our Story
Field Outdoor Spaces was founded on the belief that we could create a landscaping company that would be a fulfilling place to work. Along the way we realized that year-round employment and learning opportunities play a key role in keeping the talented people who have joined Field. After several brainstorming sessions where we dug deep into the idea well and scribbled outlandish ideas on whiteboards, we settled on the respectable plan of remodeling. In 2019 Uplift by Field was born.
What do you do if you want to gain a lot of remodeling skills quickly? You jump in up to your neck, buy a house to fully remodel, and do a high-quality flip of course! The “Nevada House”, named for the street on which it sits in St Louis Park, was a wild ride. We opened up the upstairs by installing a giant beam, added two bathrooms, moved the kitchen, finished the basement and in 2020 at the beginning of Covid sold it!

Growing Our Remodeling Team
We have been gaining skills and growing the team ever since that point. Beginning with a crew of 4 in 2019, we have expanded to 8 people and are striving to grow that yearly. From November-April we turn our focus to remodeling basements and bathrooms. We may not be the fastest outfit in town, but we bring the same level of professionalism and quality into the interior of every home we work in that we are known for in our landscaping. Our greatest asset as a company is our people and whether they are installing your new patio, or remodeling your bathroom we think you will agree.
